"How Will I Learn The Alexander Technique?"

In your lessons, my aim is to improve your co-ordination by encouraging you to release tension while staying still or when moving.

You will be guided by my hands... usually placed very lightly on your head and neck... while you go through everyday movements that reveal your habits.

This is done very gently, and you soon become aware of how you restrict your movement by habitually pulling yourself out of shape... and you also discover how to stop doing this.

I will also talk you through the movements, explaining and demonstrating how you can release tension and move with more freedom, balance and poise.

It won't be long before you can do this for yourself.

Testimonials

As a long-term sufferer of neck and shoulder pain, I had tried a variety of treatments to help my problem, all of which have had limited success. So, I tried the Alexander Technique. After my first few sessions, I felt like I was floating across the floor when I walked and my limbs felt free and relaxed. I also felt more positive about my situation. As time passed the pain in my neck and shoulder eased and friends commented that I<strong> looked taller and had more of a presence. I now play football again after having given it up because of my problems. Anyone prepared to spend the time to do something about their pain will find it well worth the effort
